Nice to meet you!

It is very nice to meet you, please allow me to introduce myself...

​

Going back many years... I was raised in the US and thanks to my parents I developed a great interest and love to travel the world and learn about different cultures. Back in The Netherlands I visited the largest European Cardiology congress with my father, what an experience! I was amazed by the various stakeholders involved, the constant exchange of knowledge and networking opportunities under one roof. I found a school connecting these skills and hoping to be part of the association industry one day... 

In 1995 I was offered the opportunity to write my thesis for one of the largest convention centers in the country titled; 'the congress needs of the pharmaceutical industry'. During that time the MICE and association industry stole my heart. The following year I joined a PCO with focus on the international medical and pharmaceutical industry for both corporate and association projects. For 16 years I worked on the operational as well as the account management side with international operating clients. The following seven years I developed the medical association market and designed and implemented an Ambassador Network for the Convention Bureau of Rotterdam as Account Manager Associations. In 2019 I started as a freelancer using my knowledge and experience of the past years and picking up projects that appeal to me. I currently combine this freelance world with a great and inspiring position within the Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam.

I live with my husband and our 2 teenaged boys in the city of Rotterdam and I still enjoy traveling the world and working together with different cultures around the globe.
